Sunny Days Child Development Center was started in 2017 by Ms. Juanita Palmer.

 

Our organization came into existence at the right time and for the right people. Ms. Palmer worked in the daycare setting in the past. Many of her parents asked often when she would start her own daycare. While helping a friend with their daycare startup, Ms. Palmer came across a building owner who encouraged her to launch her own daycare. Which was the beginning of Sunny Days Child Development Center.

 

At a very early age, Ms. Palmer was impacted by a teacher who was nice and gentle. Through her years of growing she always remembered how her teacher, Mr. Gary, exuded genuine care for his students. This sparked a desire to become a teacher. She wanted to have a similar impact on children. Ms. Juanita Palmer believes there is no such thing as “daycare kids”, she believes “we must be gentle with kids and their feelings". Our philosophy of Sunny days is to treat people the way you want to be treated.
